Composition:
Each 1 ml contains:
Malathion:
570 mg w/v
Properties and indications:
AMIRAL 57 EC contains malathion which is a non-systemic, wide-spectrum organophosphate insecticide of slight mammalian toxicity.
AMIRAL 57 EC is effective in controlling flies, mosquitoes, fleas, lice, poultry mites, mange mites, ticks, and fly maggots.
Antidote:

Withdrawal:
Meat: 7 days.
Stability:
Stable in neutral media (pH 7).
First Aid:
- Skin contact: remove clothing and wash thoroughly affected body area and under finger and toe nails with soap and water.
- Eye contact: Hold eye open and rinse gently with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Call medical attention.
- Inhalation: move to fresh air, keep rest and warm, if not breathing give artificial respiration, and call medical attention.
- Ingestion: do not induce vomiting except under doctor attention, give patient water for mouth wash then remove him to hospital with ectoparasiticide bottle.
Precautions:
- Read the label before use and always follow its instructions strictly.
- AMIRAL 57 EC will work more effectively if the temperature is 20° C or more.
- Before use, wear protective clothing, goggles and face shield.
- Avoid contaminating feed troughs and also pools and water sources.
- Avoid use neither on sick, tired, emaciated animals nor on animals less than 1 month of age.
- Do not spray in windy weather.
- Allow 14 days before applying to freshly whitewashed surfaces.
- Do not smoke, drink or eat during use.
- Always dispose empty containers safely, and do not use it for other purposes.
- Highly toxic to fish and bees.
Storage:
- Store ectoparasiticide in its original containers upright and tightly closed.
- Keep away from children, food and drinks.
- Store in dry, well ventilated place under room temperature and away from direct sunlight.
