Ectoparasiticide

Composition:

Each 1 ml contains: 350 mg Imidacloprid.

Properties and indications:

Chemida 35% a neo-nicotinoid ectoparasiticide with a broad spectrum of activity against external parasite (fleas, fleas larvae, lice, flies) that affect camels, cattle, sheep, goats, rabbits, dogs and cats; and their premises.

Chemida 35% presents a low toxicity for most mammals and safe for use on pregnant and lactating animals.

Dosage and administration: Shake well before use

• Camels, cattle, sheep, and goats: 40-70 mg imidacloprid/kg body weight. Apply the required quantity of Chemida 35% in a few spots directly onto the skin along the animal’s backline from poll to base of the tail as shown in photos below:
• • Premises:

  Soak 3 sponges (3 × 5 cm each) in Chemida 35% and distribute in the animal house in different sites, away from children and animals.

  Antidote:

• no known specific antidote, treat symptomatically.

   

  Withdrawal period:

• 21 days from the last treatment.

  Precautions:

  • Read the label before use and always follow its instructions strictly.
  • Avoid polluting pools and water sources.
  • Do not treat unweaned puppies or kittens of less than 8 weeks of age and rabbits of less than 10 weeks of age.
  • Do not inhale vapour. Avoid skin and eye contact.
  • Before use, wear protective clothing, goggles and face shield.
  • Do not smoke, drink or eat during use.
  • Always dispose empty containers safely, and do not use it for other purposes.
  • CHEMIDA 35% is highly toxic to aquatic species and moderately toxic to honeybees.

  First Aid:

  • Skin contact: remove clothing and wash with soap and water.
  • Eye contact: flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
  • Inhalation: move to fresh air, keep rest and warm, if not breathing give artificial respiration, and call medical attention.
  • Ingestion: do not induce vomiting except under doctor attention, give patient water for mouth-wash then remove him to hospital with ectoparasiticide bottle.

  Storage:

  • Store ectoparasiticide in its original containers tightly closed away from children, food and drinks.
  • Store in dry, well ventilated place at temperature below 30 ْC and away from direct sunlight.
