Veterinary insecticide, with a broad spectrum activity against ecto-parasites affect animals
Composition:
Each 1 liter contains:
Abamectin : 18 gm w/v
(Min. Avermectin B 1a 90.8%, Avermectin B1b 9.2%)
Inert Ingredients : 982 gm w/v
Properties & Indications:
- Vetamectin 1.8 EC: Insecticide, with a broad spectrum activity against ecto-parasites that affect animals
- Vetamectin 1.8 EC: To control and treatment of ecto-parasites like Ticks, Lice and Fleas which affect Sheep, Goat, Cattle and camels.
-Vetamectin 1.8 EC: is used to control different kinds of the flies and insects on farms, stables and barns
Withdrawal Period:
- The consumption of meat 7 days after the use of insecticide.
- The consumption of milk 7 days after the use of insecticide.
Stability of spray solution:
Stable in media (PH = 5.7.9) and degrade under acidic and alkaline strong media.
Toxic to fish and bees
Moderately toxic to birds
First aid:
- Skin contact: Remove clothing and wash contaminated body parts with water and soap.
- Eye contact: flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and call medical attention immediately.
- Inhalation: move to fresh air, if not breathing give artificial respiration.
- Ingestion: washing of the stomach to the patient and called the doctor immediately.
- If fainting does not give patient anything by mouth and called the doctor immediately.
Antidote:
Not found, and treated according to symptoms.
The patient is given activating agent such as valproic acid.
Precautions:
- Read the label before use and always follow its instructions strictly.
- Before use wear protective clothing, goggles and face shield.
- Do not spray in windy weather and against the wind.
- Do not smoke, drink or eat during use.
- Avoid contaminate pools and water sources.
- Always dispose empty containers by safely environmental way, and don’t use it for other purposes.
Storage:
- Store insecticide in its original containers tightly closed.
- Keep away from children, food and drinks.
- Store in dry, well ventilated place at room temperature below 30° C and away from direct sunlight.
