Emulsifiable Concentrate
A Broad spectrum organophosphate veterinary ectoparasiticide
Composition:
Each 1 liter contains:
Diazinon : 162 gm w/v
Inert Ingredients : 838 gm w/v
Properties & Indications :
- Affects the ecto-parasites with contact and stomach action.
- Very stable so it can be used in dips and for spraying animals, sheds and stables.
- Used for the control of ecto-parasites like mange mites, ticks, lice, fleas and screw worms which affect sheep, goats, cows, camels and other animals.
- Used to control different kinds of stable flies and blow-fly larvae.
Withdrawal Period:
- For meat consumption: 14 days after the last use.
- For milk consumption: 3 days after the last use.
Antidote:
Atropine, in addition to Oxime compounds such as 2-PAM and Toxogonin.
Stability of Spray Solution:
Stable under neutral media, slowly degradable under alkaline media and highly degradable under acidic media
First Aid:
- Skin contact: remove contaminated clothes and wash affected area with soap and water.
- Eye contact: flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and call medical attention.
- Inhalation: move to fresh air, keep rest and warm, if not breathing give artificial respiration, and call medical attention.
- Ingestion: do not induce vomiting except under doctor attention, give water for mouth-wash then move patient to hospital with ectoparasiticide bottle.
Precautions:
- Read the label before use and always follow its instructions strictly.
- Avoid contaminating pools and water sources.
- Use diluted amount on the same day.
- Avoid using the product for sick, tired and small animals
- Before use, wear protective clothing, goggles, gloves and face shield.
- Do not spray in windy weather.
- Do not smoke, drink or eat during use.
- Always dispose empty containers safely, and do not use it for other purposes.
Storage:
- Store in its original containers tightly closed.
- Keep away from children, food and drinks.
- Store in dry, well ventilated place at temperature below 30 deg C and away from direct sunlight.
