Coliphate (Oral Liquid)

Composition: Each 1 ml contains:

                         Colistin Sulphate:  800 000 IU

Properties & Indications:

• Coliphate contains Colistin which is highly effective against gram-negative bacteria especially E.coli.
•  
• Coliphate is used for the treatment of gastrointestinal tract  infections in poultry, calves, lambs and kids caused by gram negative bacteria like; E.coli ,Klebsiella, Pasteurella, Shigella,  Pseudomonas and Salmonella.
• Coliphate has a strong local action in GIT due to its poor intestinal absorption after oral administration.
• Dosage and administration:
• Poultry:
• 100 ml per 200 liters of drinking water daily for 4-5 days.
• Calves, lambs and kids: 0.75 ml/ 10 kg b.wt two times daily for 3 consecutive days with drinking water or milk replacer.
• *Medicated drinking water/milk replacer should be used within 24 hours.
• Withdrawal period: 24 hours from the last treatment.

Storage:

Store in dark and dry place at temperature below 30 C.
