COMPOSITION:

Each 1ml contains:
Fosfomycin sodium: 200mg

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Fosfomycin is an antibiotic with bactericidal activity that kills bacteria by inhibiting synthesis of cell walls. It has a high bioavailability, low binding to plasmatic proteins and low toxicity.

INDICATIONS:

Treatment of infections caused by Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria such as:

1. E. coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Proteus, Haemophilus, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus and Corynebacterium.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

IN DRINKING WATER

Broiler: The average dose of active ingredient is 40 mg/kg of b.wt, equivalent to 200 mg FOSFOCHEM 20% / kg of b.wt in drinking water, for 3 - 5 consecutive days.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

Broiler: 7 days from the last treatment.
